HEGEDIS-FERENCY: Zarka Cecelia Hegedis-Ferency, beloved wife of Andre Ferency, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 14, 2000. Zarka was born in Maribor, Slovenija on March 1, 1931. She later came to Canada in 1960 and was employed at the Brandon University for a number of years. Zarka is survived by her husband Andre; daughter Zarka of Slovenija; and step-daughter Maria of Toronto. A graveside ceremony will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Friday (today), June 16, 2000 at 4:00 p.m. with Fr. Rainerio Sarce of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church as Celebrant.
