MAKINSON: William Claude "Bill" Makinson passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Bill was born on July 28, 1937 in Austin, Manitoba the son of William and Reba Makinson. He was raised in Austin, spending most of his life in Brandon. Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Deanna; daughters, Shannon and Sandra (JTrTmie) Gent; grandchildren, Eva and Abigail. He also leaves sisters, Margaret Taylor, Shirley McGregor, Carol (Glen) Bray; and brothers, Campbell (Lorraine), Murray (Karen); as well as brother-in-law, Rod (Judy) Ewen; and father-in-law, Percy Ewen. There are numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends whose presence enriched Bill's life. Bill was predeceased by: his parents, William and Reba Makinson; mother-in-law, Lorena Ewen; brothers-in-law, Vern Taylor and Clifford McGregor. The Ceremony to Celebrate Bill's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 7:00 pm. Rev. Glenna Beauchamp will officiate. A private family interment will take place in the Austin Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
