EulogyWilliam "Bill" Lysack

Bill Lysack was born on September 16, 1922. He was one of five brothers born to the Lychacz family.

Bill and his siblings grew up on 26th Street in Brandon. Bill was close to his brothers and they built their homes side by side on 26th Street.

Bill attended Fleming Elementary and Earl Oxford Secondary School. He became an Electrician and worked in Shilo for 30 years.

Even though he was successful in his career, his riches did not come from his job but one special lady, Ruth Atchinson. Bill and Ruth spent their lives together. A voracious reader, his zest for life was enhanced by his many hobbies.

He was an avid photographer and had a love for classical and operatic music.

Bill spent many years as an active member of Brandon's Legion Band playing the French horn.

Bill Lysack had a rewarding and full life, with Ruth Atchinson sharing in the many adventures. His life was truly enriched by that one Special Lady and his love for her never faltered. He carries this love with him to his final rest place.
