The death of William (Bill) Alexander John Black occurred Monday, March 24, 2003 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon. He joined the Army when he was eighteen years old, serving in World War II, from 1943-1946 with the R.C.A. Signals. Bill married the love of his life, Agnes Baxter Wilson on September 7, 1946. Upon his return to civilian life, Bill was employed with various businesses in the Brandon area, Brandon Packers, Wright Implement Company, Brandon Pure Milk, Fit Well Taylors, McDonald's Men's Wear and at Eatons in the Men's Wear Department. Bill concluded his working career with Narvey's Men's Wear. Bill was an active member of his community. With the support of his wife Agnes, he served as a Cub and Scout Leader, serving with the Boy Scouts of Canada for over twenty years.
