GRAY: The death of Wilfred James Gray of Brandon occurred in the city on Friday, November 9, 2007. Wilfred James Gray was born in Vancouver, BC on November 1, 1933, son of Norman and Madeline Gray. He received his education in Vancouver and resided there until moving to Boissevain in 1971. While in Boissevain, Mr, Gray was employed with the Land Titles Office and worked there until the office closed in 1981 and he relocated to Brandon where he was employed with the Land Titles Office until his retirement in the mid 1980's. Mr. Gray was an associated member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He also enjoyed bowling and dancing. He is survived by his son, Bruce (Arlene) Gray and his daughter, Diane Gray (Blake Withers) and their mother, June. He also leaves grandchildren; James Gray, Kacey Gray, Kale Gray, Allie Gray-Beauchense, Zac Gray-Beauchense, Katie Ann Gray-Withers and Serena Gray-Withers. Mr.Gray was predeceased by a brother, Donald. The funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 1:30 pm. The Rev. Orton Anderson will officiate.
