On Friday, April 12, 2024, Wayne Black, age 74, passed away suddenly in Brandon, Manitoba.
Wayne was born on September 6, 1949 in Minnedosa, Manitoba to James and Margaret Black.
Wayne will be deeply missed by his sister, Lynn Madden of Rivers, MB, brothers, Doug (Sherri) Black of Souris, MB and Dana Black (Penny Gilson) of Souris, MB, children, Brenda (John) Elmes of Brandon, Leah Black (Jamie McCutchin) of Sandy Lake, David Black (Kim Hudon) of Elkhorn, MB and their mother, Joanne Black of Fleming, SK.
His pride and joy, grandchildren, Travis Baily of Moosomin, SK, Jessa (Jon) Stowe of Birtle, MB, Tanner Baily of Moosomin, SK, Cody McCutchin (Cass Greenley) of Melita, MB, Josh Elmes (Sarah Rickard) of Brandon, MB, Jaxon (Jenna) Elmes of Brandon, MB, Jalyn Elmes (Ty Dornn) of Brandon, MB, Sydney MacPherson (Cole Burkholder) of Regina, SK, Dayton Black (Brynn Downer) of Moosomin, SK, Brydon Black of Elkhorn, MB, Brooklyn Black of Gilbert Plains, MB. Great Grandchildren, Kwynn and Baylee Stowe, Joel and Alyza Elmes, Maverick and Sadee Clarkson, Joseph Elmes and Elaya MacPherson.
He is also survived by special extended family members: Tyson Caplette and family, Krissy Caplette and family, and Bryson Cabernel as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, James and Margaret Black and brother in law Barry Madden.
A Come and Go Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm (Sask. time) at the Fleming Community Hall in Fleming, Saskatchewan.
