Obituary

BALISKI: It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne S. Baliski announces his sudden passing at Richmond, British Columbia, on Monday, June 11, 2007. Wayne was born in Brandon, Manitoba on July 15, 1944 to Ann and Stanley Baliski. He attended school in Brandon and upon graduating grade twelve, moved with his parents to Thunder Bay, Ontario. After Wayne completed grade thirteen in Thunder Bay, he started work with the Ontario Highways Ministry where he made it his career. Wayne was transferred to Kenora, Ontario in 1990 and retired there in 1992. In 1994, Wayne moved back to Brandon where he remained until 2004, when he moved to Richmond, British Columbia. While in Brandon, he enjoyed the few years golfing at Shilo in the Legends Golf League where he made many good friends. Wayne golfed nearly every morning as a member of the Shilo Club. He also enjoyed spending time and doing things with his sons, Kevin and Ryan. Wayne is survived by his sons Kevin of Vancouver, British Columbia, and Ryan of Richmond, British Columbia; mother Ann Baliski of Brandon; sister Barbara (Dick) Pow also of Brandon. He was predeceased by his father Stanley Baliski in June 1995. The Ceremony to Celebrate Wayne's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 3 - 824 18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 5B7. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.

To Dad
How fortunate you were our father.
Your inspiration and guidance will always be with us.
You taught us right from wrong and how to enjoy everyday to its fullest.
You worked so hard to clothe and feed us, asking so very little in return.
You will always be the most important man in our lives.
Your love and guidance will always be with us.
We will miss you Dad, thank you for all the wonderful memories.
We wish you could have been with us longer, but are so grateful for the time we had.
May God care for you as you did for us.
Your family will miss and love you always.

Sons, Kevin and Ryan

He's the one you've known forever.
The one you go to for honest advice and genuine support.
The one who accepts your quirky little habits and understands you in a way few others can.
He's the one you can call at any hour - to laugh or cry or complain?R> The one whose voice has been there all along, sharing secrets and dreams
And singing your song when you needed to hear it most.
He's the one who can read your mind, hear your heart, and love you just the way you are.
He's your lifelong friend?t so much more.
He's your brother.

Love always
Your sister BarbMemorials
