BATTLEY: The death of Walter Alfred "Mick" Battley occurred on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born May 21, 1932 at Knowlton, Quebec, Mick served in the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring in 1984. Mick is survived by: his beloved wife Lois; children: Kathy (Lorne), Rick (Donna) and Kerry; grandchildren: Sean (Tara), Cole (Theresa), Alex, Gord, Leigh (Carlos); great-grandson Griffin and numerous nephews and nieces across Canada. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Kevin and grandson Brady. A private graveside ceremony was held at the Brandon Cemetery. Joe Ball, Hospital Chaplain officiated.
