Vivian Delores Theaker, beloved wife of Frank, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, August 11, 2000. Vivian was born at Birch River, Manitoba on May 14, 1927, the third child of Alfred and Christina Fischer. She received her early education in Birch River before the family moved to Winnipeg. In 1951, Vivian married Frank Theaker in Brandon. Vivian and Frank enjoyed travelling to many parts of the world with Frank's tour of duty in the Armed Forces. They have been retired in Brandon since 1978. Vivian enjoyed oil painting, crocheting and all hobbycrafts. She is survived by her husband Frank, a brother, Art Fischer of Douglas and a sister, Mavis (Allan) Dalgleish of Shilo. There are numerous nieces and nephews. Vivian was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Raymond and Fred. The funeral ceremony was celebrated at Memories Chapel on Wednesday, August 16, 2000. Rev. Rainerio Sarce' of St. Augustine's Catholic Church officiated. Interment followed in the family plot at the Madford cemetery.
