MCINNES: Vivian Geraldine Ann McInnes, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, September 12, 2005, after a long and courageous battle with diabetes and kidney failure. Vivian was born April 9, 1946 and was raised on the farm at Scarth and moved to Virden with her family and attended school there. She later moved to Brandon where she worked at the sewing factory. In 1975 she married Don McInnes and they moved to Douglas where they raised their two children Dan and Shauna. Vivian worked at Carnation Foods in Carberry until illness forced her to retire. In 1999 the family move to Brandon. Vivian loved quiet times at the cottage, yard sales, and bingo. Her first love was her family especially her granddaughters. Vivian is survived by her husband of 30 years, Donald; son Dan and partner Charlotte; daughter Shauna, husband Paul and granddaughters Brooke and Sydney Primmer. Also surviving, special son John and partner Muugii; brother Bill (Joan) Martinook and family of Melville SK; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends also survive. Vivian was predeceased by her parents Gabriel and Lucille Boulanger of Virden; and stillborn daughter Pearl. Cremation has taken place. The Memorial Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Friday, September 16, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Lydia Glawson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
