SHERB: Violet Greta Sherb, widow of Stanley Sherb, passed away in Brandon on January 2, 2013. Violet was born at Carnegie, Manitoba on September 30, 1928, the daughter of Anthony and Frances Gonroski. She married Stanley Sherb and resided in Brandon most of her life. Violet worked as a hairstylist until her retirement. She and Stanley raised one daughter, Valerie. Violet was predeceased by her husband Stanley and her daughter, Valerie. Surviving are: her son-in-law, Ross Hicks and grandson, Dallas (Lynnai) Hicks and their children, Dalen and Lyrrah. There will be no formal ceremony. A private service will be held at a later date.
