The death of Victoria Kelor occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, May 15, 2001. Victoria was born in Brandon, Manitoba on May 17, 1922 to John and Sophie Kelar. She received her early education at the David Livingstone School. After she received her education she worked at various jobs until going to McKenzie Seeds. Victoria worked for McKenzie Seeds for 42 years of dedicated service until her retirement in 1987. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, babysitting nieces, nephews, both great and great great nieces and nephews and visits of all family members. Victoria was like a "Mother to all the Family". She is survived by her brother, Joe (Julia) Kelor of Brandon; sisters, Mildred Dechka and Francis (George) Sundue of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. As well there are numerous nieces and nephews. Victoria was pre-deceased by her parents, John and Sophie Kelar, an infant brother, Walter and her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Bury Stinson as well as her brother-in-law, Michael Dechka. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, on Friday, May 18, 2001 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery.
