Obituary

PEPPER: Vera Francis Pepper (nee Jeremic) passed away at the Assiniboine Centre on Saturday, January 1, 2000. Vera was born on December 17, 1938 in Carlyle, Saskatchewan, later moving to Brandon in 1951. She met and married Thomas Bruce Pepper and together they resided in Brandon until the time of Vera's passing. Vera was predeceased by her father John Jeremic in 1971 and her mother Midora in 1982. She is survived by her beloved husband Bruce; sons: Ronald, Raymond (Carole) and Murray of Brandon; daughters: Barbara (Rob) of Bashaw, Alberta and Rhonda of Winnipeg; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are Vera's brothers: Victor (Bernice) and Murray of Victoria, BC, Alex, Joe (Anne) and Nick of Brandon; sisters: Anne (Richard) Baker of Cornack, Saskatchewan, Doris (Ken) Cale of Calgary, Alberta. There are several nieces and nephews. Vera will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all. The ceremony to celebrate Vera's life was held at Memories Chapel on Thursday, January 6, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Vera to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 42 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, R7A 2B2. Arrangements were with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
