CZECH: Vera Margaret Czech wife of the Late Joseph M. Czech passed away peacefully in Brandon on Wednesday evening, December 21, 2005. Vera was born in Brandon on February 15, 1922 to Jacob Shinski and Margaret Schneider. She and her husband Joe were married in June 1945 and were life-long residents of Brandon. Vera was predeceased by: her husband in September 1981, her mother 1973 and father in 1984. She is survived by: her children: Linda (Bill) Chester of Brandon; Paulette (Larry) Flannagan of Victoria, BC and Joseph (Barb) Czech of Winnipeg. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Timothy and Patrick Flannagan of Victoria, BC; Cara and Josh Czech of Winnipeg and Ian Chester of Brandon. Vera's brother and sister-in- law Ross and Eva Shinski also survive. Prayers will be said at Memories Chapel, 330-18th St. N. Brandon on Tuesday evening, December 27 at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church, 223-11th Street, on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 11:00 am. Co-Celebrants will be Fr. Anthony Korewa and Fr. Leo Fernandes. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
