Tyrus Parlow 88, our husband, dad, brother, grandpa and friend passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024.

Born on March 9th, 1935, Ty lived a full and vibrant life from his childhood growing up with his five brothers and sisters in Sault Ste Marie and attending school in Hamilton Ontario to his many adventures across the country from Halifax to New Brunswick to Edmonton and then 29 years spent working as a pipe fitter at the pulp and paper mill in The Pas Manitoba before he retired to Brandon Manitoba.

Ty and his wife of 64 Years, Janet, enjoyed their retirement in Brandon, Manitoba, spending time with their 5 grandchildren, they were Ty's pride and joy. Ty was an avid fisherman and loved nothing more than spending time out on the water with a fishing pole, he had endless patience when it came to teaching his grandchildren how to catch their first fish.

He is survived by his wife Janet, children Chris (Kathie), Pamela (Kevin) O'Rourke, Heather (Bill) Carr and Terry (Sandra), and his grandchildren, Maegan, Brody, Jordan, Max and Sean.

A sincere thank you to the exceptional people at Dinsdale personal care home who supported and took special care of Ty.
