Obituary

PASCAL: Trevor Pascal, beloved husband of Karrie and Daddy to Jordyn and Kaylee, passed away on October13, 2008 at the age of 32 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Winnipegosis, the eldest of 3 boys to Roy and Elsie on May 26, 1976. Trevor spent many hours building legos with his brothers, Colin and Dale and pulling them around with his quad in a trailer, which he constructed himself. He learned to skate at the early age of 3, and by 4 he joined minor hockey and continued to play until he was 13. Homework was never important so Trev would always hurry home from school so he could go farming with his Dad. He was always looking for new projects to keep him busy; his wishing wells adorn many yards of family and friends. By 16, he joined the volunteer Fire Department and remained an active part of the department until he left home in 2000. Trevor attended Winnipegosis Collegiate and worked at C. Bergen Service for work experience where he continued to work after graduating in 1994. He then moved to Brandon and studied Farm Machinery Mechanics for a year. He followed that up with his Heavy Duty Mechanics Journeyman Certificate and just recently challenged the Millwright exam and passed with flying colours. Trevor began work at Westco Fertilizer in the fall of 2000 and continued to work there until be became ill early this year. In the summer of 1995, Trev met Karrie Morgan, the love of his life. They both shared a love for the outdoors - quadding, camping and hanging out with their friends. On February14, 2001, Trev finally popped the question, Karrie said, "YES!" and they wed on November 24, 2001. Trevor and Karrie made their home in Brandon. He spent countless hours renovating their home from top to bottom, which was a never-ending project due to his eye for perfection. When Trev's first daughter Jordyn was born, it changed his life forever. No longer did he have grease under his fingernails, but pink polish on them. Later, Kaylee joined the family and added lipstick to his new "duties". Daddy spent many hours playing soccer with Jordyn (who still claims he scored 99 goals on her) and teaching Kaylee to ride the new bike he just bought her this spring. Even though Trev was surrounded by "his girls", he never lost his need to get his hands dirty. He spent many hours watching Mighty Machines and in his final days, he taught Karrie how to tile. Trevor was well known for always lending a hand or finding a good deal to whoever was in need. He spent many hours kneeboarding at the Bay in Winnipegosis and mud bogging thru the pastures with the boys. Trevor is survived by his loving wife Karrie; daughters Jordyn and Kaylee and the family dog "Missouri". He is also survived by his parents Roy and Elsie; brothers Colin (Leslie) and Dale (Carol); mother-in-law Barb Morgan; father-in-law Murdie Morgan; brother-in-law Bob; sister-in-law Cindy and many extended family members. The Ceremony to Celebrate Trevor's Life was held at Bethel Christian Assembly, on Friday, October 17, 2008. Rev. Joe Ball officiated. Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Dauphin, Manitoba. Donations in memory of Trevor may be made to Jordyn and Kaylee Pascal Trust Fund, c/o Westoba Credit Union, 3300 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba, R7B 0N2 or to any branch of the Westoba Credit Union.
