RIDDICK: With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our dear father Thomas (Tom) Alexander Riddick in the early morning of Saturday, October 6, 2012. Tom was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Norma. He is survived by daughter Carole of Winnipeg; son William (Janice); grandchildren Steven and Angela of Toronto; sisters-in-law Margaret Riddick of Winnipeg and Joyce Riddick of Modesto, California as well as many nieces and nephews. Tom was born and raised in Rivers, Manitoba where he began working for the C.N.R. in the mid 1940s. After retiring from the railway in 1979, Tom and Norma moved from Fort Frances, Ontario to Brandon to enjoy their golden years. Tom enjoyed his retirement years golfing with his buddies, reading and walking. Tom and Norma also spent many winters in Florida sharing happy times with family and making new friends. The family would like to thank Susan Anderson and the staff of A3 at the Assiniboine Centre for all their caring and support. A private family service was held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
