occurred in Brandon on Wednesday, June 30, 2004.
Prayers for James Albert "Nick" Nicholls and Theresa Francis "Terry" Nicholls will be said at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Sunday, July 4, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, on Monday, July 5, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant will be Fr. Leo Fernandes. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to memorieschapel@mts.net. NICHOLLS: Theresa Francis "Terry" Nicholls (nee Zatylny) passed away at her residence Fairview Home on Wednesday, June 30, 2004. Theresa was born on October 21, 1929 in Brandon, Manitoba, the daughter of Michael and Josephine Zatylny. She received her education at Fleming School and Brandon Collegiate Institute and loved to participate in many sports. At the age of 16 years, Theresa who always loved fashion, began working at the Brandon sewing factory. In 1950, she married James "Nick" Nicholls and they recently celebrated their 54th year of marriage. Throughout the years Terry held various jobs, MacKenzie Seeds, Camp Shilo Canex Store, G.E. Lightbulbs (Oakville, ON), Canada Packers (Barrie, ON), and Brandon Packers. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Her interests included: gardening, cooking, bowling, fishing, travelling, photography and shopping. She loved collecting stamps, coins and antiques, dancing, music and fine wines. Theresa is survived by: her son, Doug (Cathy) Nicholls; daughter, Debi (Ralph) Trott; grandchildren, James (Tracy) Nicholls, Karla Nicholls, David Trott, and Jeff Trott; great grandson, Kaysen Nicholls. She is also survived by: her brother, Joseph (Anne) Zatylny; sister, Lynn (Eric) Pingert; nieces and nephews, Carol Hodgson, Ted Zatylny, Jane (Mark) Nahirny, Mark (Cheryl) Smith; and Garth (Cheryl) Smith; great nieces and nephews, Kayla Smith, Leanne Smith, Lindsey Smith and Victor Nahirny. Terry was recently predeceased by: her husband, James Albert "Nick" Nicholls. She was also predeceased by: her parents, Josephine and Michael Zatylny and sister, Bernadine Upton. Funeral Service details will follow. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Trott, David Trott, James Nicholls, Dave Sukaroff, Wayne Kowalchuk and Victor White. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Nelson Gray and Walter Hazlett.
