On Sunday June 26, 2016, Thelma Edith McMullan passed away at the Assiniboine Centre, Palliative Care Unit, Brandon, Manitoba with her daughters by her side. Born March 26, 1932, Thelma was the middle daughter of Harold and Geraldine Tait. She attended Royal School. During her life time Thelma had numerous jobs, but her greatest pleasure was being a mother and grandmother. Thelma leaves to mourn her passing her daughters Kathy (Kevin) and Donna (Terry); grandsons Brenden (Baillee) and Jordan (Coralee); sisters in-law Marilyn, Marj and Ada as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stew; parents Harold and Geraldine; father and mother-in-law William and Elizabeth; brother Leonard; sister Lil and brothers-in-law Ed, Jim, George, Bob and Len as well as sisters-in-law Shirley and Muriel. A celebration of Thelma's life will be in the Ken Robbins Hall at Lions Manor, 35 Victoria Avenue East, on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Thelma's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 3-824 18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5B7.
