CONLEY: Terrance Scott Conley of Brandon, MB, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 3rd, 2006 at the age of 43 years. Terry was born in Brandon on June 1, 1962, the son of Velma and David Conley. The Conley family moved from Brandon to Alexander where they resided for many years. Terry had many enjoyable years fishing and spending time with his family at their cabin at Sandy Lake. He attended Alexander School and then Earl Oxford and Neelin in Brandon. He spent some younger years working with his brother Cecil on the railroad. He found his niche in 1992 when he joined Brandon Chrysler Dodge selling automobiles and then joined Radics Chrysler in 2002. He had a very outgoing and friendly personality and made many good friends over the years. Terry had been a member of the Brandon Club for many years as well as the Army & Navy, and he loved playing darts, shuffleboard and most recently, was in a 10 pin bowling league. He enjoyed spending weekends at Clear Lake in the summer with family and his dog "Jake" and he had many great "lake buddies". He loved to play golf and had participated in curling leagues and bonspiels in past years. Terry is survived by his partner of 17 years, Janice Ratz, his daughter, Sabrina Bentley, grandson, Kenshin, mother, Velma, sister, Lois (Lorne) Riley, sister, Linda Lee, brother, Edward, brother, Cecil (Marion), and sister, Dayle (Cecil) Kristalovich; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves to mourn Janice's family, Ken and Shirley Ratz; Larry and Joan Ratz and family. Terry was pre-deceased by his father, David Conley in 2003. A celebration of Terry's life was held on Tuesday, February 7th, 2006 at Central United Church with Rev. John Nesbitt officiating. Honorary pallbearers were: Ray Drebnisky, Greg Pidperyhora, and Darrell Reboul. Active pallbearers were: Bob Brown, Ed Gilbert, Keith Harpelle, Blake Manser, Russell Schumacher, and Craig Shanks. Interment followed in the Brandon Cemetery.
