Stuart George Davidson, A.A.C.I. passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Saturday, April 10, 1999. Stuart was born in the R.M. of Minitonas, Manitoba on August 15, 1917, son of George and Jessie Davidson. He is survived by his beloved wife Louise and children: Murray (Muriel) Davidson, Wade and Scott; Lorraine (Larry) Franz, James, Andrea and Chris; Shirley (Fred Jr.) McGuinness, Frederick and Todd; Wesley (Kathy) Davidson, Sarah and Emily. He also leaves a sister, Estelle Christeanson and a brother, Donald (Nellie) Davidson; sisters-in-law, Jessie Davidson, Nona Davidson and brother-in-law, Brock McArthur. He was predeceased by three brothers; Douglas, Walter, Hubert, sister Florence and a brother-in-law, Chris Christeanson. After his return from overseas, Stuart farmed for fifteen years before joining the Farm Credit Corporation. He retired in 1982. Stuart was a member of Knox United Church, Brandon, the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 247, Brandon and the Canadian Appraisal Institute Board. A time of visitation will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, Brandon on Friday, April 16, 1999 from 11:00 am. to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Chapel at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Bob Hunter will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Freinds may make a contribution in memory of Stuart to a charity of choice.
