It is with great sadness that the family of Stephen Douglas Leszkovics announce his passing at the age of 67 on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at the Brandon Regional Hospital. He was surrounded with love and family by his side. Holding the hands of the love of his life, Sherry Clyne and beloved grandson Francisco Arevalo-Clyne.
Stephan loved his family fiercely. He was a proud father & grandfather, first and foremost. Stephan's knowledge and wisdom he gained throughout life, made him one of the strongest, bravest men his family had ever known.
He was not afraid to voice his strong opinions in any situation or stand up for his beliefs. He made friends everywhere he went. His strength inspired his children beyond measure. He made sure we knew we were always protected and loved. His soft and kind nature often shined through especially when joking around with his children and playing joyfully with his grandchildren. His laughter filled rooms with happiness, and that will be so heartbreakingly missed.
Stephan was predeceased by his parents; Jean Lennea Finnimore (Neé Robinson) & Joseph Leszkovics; and stepfather, Clifford Finnimore.
Stephan has left to mourn and will be forever remembered by Sherry Clyne & his children Stevie Clyne, Jennifer Clyne (Traverse Flette) , Sabrina Sanderson (Kevin Petrie) , Season Clyne, and Adam Clyne; grandchildren Francisco Arevalo-Clyne, Tyler Contois-Clyne, Tamera Flette, Noah Flette, Kenneth Petrie, Ozias Clyne, Sahara Petrie, Christopher Kalmakoff, Ruby Clyne, Kalyx Petrie, Jakoby Clyne, Solara Petrie, Landon Flette and Baby Clyne; siblings, Lennea Leszkovics, Joanne Prest and David Leszkovics; step-siblings, Leonard Finnimore, Larry Finnimore, Darrell Finnimore; nieces & nephews, Adam, Erin, Jennifer, Mark and Theresa; and various other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Stephen's Life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, Brandon, MB on February 28, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery.
