LESTITION: The death of Stephen Lestition of Brandon occurred Sunday May 28, 2006 in the city. Divine Liturgy will be Celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Ave. on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. Fr. Michael Tkachuk celebrant. Cantor Mr. Tony Yuriy. A private family interment will follow at Brandon cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, donations in memory of Stephen may be made to Rideau Park Personal Care Home, 525 Victoria Ave. East, Brandon R7A 6S9. LESTITION: Stephen Lestition passed away at Rideau Park Personal Care Home, on Sunday, May 28, 2006. Stephen was born on June 23, 1912 in Brandon, Manitoba. He was an active member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church and of the Ukrainian Reading Association Hall. Stephen was proud of being a "Seedsman" at McKenzie Seeds for over 50 years. Stephen will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 68 years, Mary; children, Mervin (Susan) Lestition, of Burlington, ON, Brian (Marlene) Lestition of Beausejour and Joanne (Richard) Dyson of Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Bradley, Lisa, Patrick and Brett; great grandchild, Julie; and sister, Mary Kelley. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Julia Lestition; siblings, Nicholas Lestition, Olga Cameron and Anne Vossler. Devine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 927 Assiniboine Avenue, on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 10:30 am. Celebrant will be Fr. Michael Tkachuk and Cantor Mr. Tony Yuriy. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Stephen to Rideau Park Personal Care Home, 525 Victoria Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 6S9.
