SCRIBNER: Stanley Scribner of Brandon, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, November 14, 2008. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 10:30 am. Mr. Richard Knight will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. SCRIBNER: Stanley. Stan was born March 18, 1929 in Ninette, Manitoba to Thornton and Julia Scribner, youngest of 11 children. He passed away December 13, 2008 at the Assiniboine Centre, Brandon. Stan married Mary, our mother, they were married March 17, 1956. Together they raised three children, Frank, Laurie and Kimberly. Stan was predeceased by his wife, Mary, March 7, 1998, by Kim's partner George in 2007. He is survived by son Frank, Frank's common-law wife Diane, step-grandchildren Scott, wife Rachelle, step-great- grandchildren Hailey, Janelle. Step-granddaughter Jennifer and husband Charles, step- great-granddaughter Brooke. Daughter Laurie (husband Steve passed away February 2009). Laurie's family Tracy and great-granddaughter Megan. Grandson Jason and Alexa, and great-grandson Arron Scribner; and Kim's family, Carter, Cassidy and Cassey. Stan is also survived by brother Raymond and sister Eva.
