With great sorrow we announce that Shirley Underhill passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Dinsdale Personal Care Home after a lengthy illness.

Shirley was the third beloved daughter of Les and Mabel Shelvey and was raised on the family farm in the St. George's district north of Brandon. She attended Mt. Vernon, Rivers and Vincent Massey schools.

Shirley worked as a secretary at various businesses and government offices.

Shirley was married to Brian Delbert Underhill; they settled on a farm north of Rapid City in the early 1970's, moving to Brandon in 1984, later residing in Trail BC from 2004-2015, before returning to Brandon.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband in 2020. Shirley and Del are survived by two sons; Quentin and Jason Underhill, grandsons Adam and Charly Underhill, all currently residing in Alberta. She will be forever remembered and missed by her friends and family.

A Celebration of Shirley's life will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 – 18th Street North on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at 11:00 am with interment to follow at the Hartney Cemetery.
