Shirley Anderson passed away peacefully on Saturday March 29, 2025, at the Brandon Regional Health Center surrounded by family.

Shirley was born on April 18, 1940, in Sinclair Manitoba to parents Stewart and Matilda Zelmer.

She attended school in Bardol and Sinclair and completed a secretarial course in Brandon.

Shirley worked as a waitress and then for the trucking firm MacArthur's where her and Verne met in 1957 and married in 1962. Together they raised two children, Ward and Arlana. Shirley worked as a Health Care Aid for many years before retiring in 2004. She enjoyed doing many crafts and spending time with family. She also belonged to the Canadian Order of Foresters and Brandon Chapter of Hydro X.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Stewart and Matilda, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 2 brothers-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband Verne; children Ward and Arlana; grandchildren Braydon and Ryley; great grandchildren Scarlett, Madison and Brixxton.
