WLADYKA: Sharyl Diane Wladyka, age 57 years of Souris, Manitoba passed away accidentally in the R.M. of Birtle, on Monday, August 21, 2006. Sharyl was born on February 22, 1949 and spent many carefree days in her youth fishing, swimming, and boating with her parents at their cabin at the lake. Sharyl attended Windsor Park Collegiate in Winnipeg. She worked at various jobs during her life including positions with various banks; as a real estate agent, owner-operator of a used furniture and antique store in Souris. At her time of passing she was working as a photographic consultant. Sharyl was an avid reader who also loved collectibles and antique furniture. She could never pass a garage sale without stopping and looking for a newfound "treasure". Sharyl was always there for any friend in need. Sharyl's warm smile will be especially missed. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Maureen and Alexander Henderson of Winnipeg. Sharyl is survived by daughter Chelsea and Jack Cochrane, her partner for 13 years. She also leaves a sister Sandra King of Winnipeg; nephews Scott and Todd; niece Stacey and good friend Laurie Roots. The Ceremony to Celebrate Sharyl's Life was held at Memories Chapel on August 28, 2006 with Arlene Robertson officiating. Urn bearer was Sharyl's daughter Chelsea. Donations in memory of Sharyl may be made to a charity of choice.
