It is with deep sadness and heart felt sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, wife and daughter Sharon Swain. Sharon passed away peacefully with family by her side on July 14, 2018 at St. Boniface Hospital. Sharon was predeceased by her father Bill Harder, and her Aunt Shirley, Uncle John, Aunt Elsie as well as her grandparents Werner and Agnus Kornelson. Sharon was born on September 15, 1964 in Morris, Manitoba. She married her husband Mike Swain of 35 years on June 4, 1983 and she settled in Brandon, MB where Sharon was a homemaker until 2001 where she went to work at the Brandon Sun for 17 years. In her leisure time Sharon spent countless hours with her two grandchildren and her two sons and going for coffee with friends nightly for many years. Sharon leaves to mourn her husband Mike, mother Betty Ann, sons Adrian (Kayla) and Anthony, her two grandchildren Jordan and Kaitlynn and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Donation in memory of Sharon can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
