STRUTH: The death of Sharon Louise Struth occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 23, 2009. The Ceremony to Celebrate Sharon's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Harvey Hurren will officiate. STRUTH: Sharon Louise Struth passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 23, 2009. Sharon was born at Deloraine, Manitoba on January 9, 1947. She lived in the village of Mountainside, Manitoba while attending Mountside School. She then completed her education at Deloraine. Sharon moved to Brandon and attended hairdressing at ACC in 1970. She worked at the Brandon Coop Cafeteria, then the Assiniboine Community College Cafeteria for almost thirty years. Most recently she worked at the cafeteria at the Provincial Building. Sharon volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity. She loved to play bingo and go to the casino with her dad. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Sharon is survived by her father Fred Harvey; husband Brian; son Craig (Jodi) McKinney; grandchildren Kristal, Kayla, Kendra; great-granddaughter Jade; son Brad (Wanda) McKinney; grandchildren Taryn and Megan; daughter Lisa (Kevin) Kirkwood; grandchildren Mitchell and Darci. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Sharon was predeceased by her brother Bill Harvey (1966); first husband Lloyd McKinney (1968); and her mother Jean Harvey (1987). The Ceremony to Celebrate Sharon's Life was held at Memories Chapel, on Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Rev. Harvey Hurren officiated. Pallbearers were: Ken Richardson, Mike Rice, Lee Moncur, Lawrence Keown, Mitch Kirkwood, and Tom Conroy. Interment followed in the Boissevain Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
