Sharon Elaine Hardy (née Lockert)

It with heavy hearts to announce Sharon who went by her middle name Elaine aged 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday July 31st, 2024, in Brandon, Manitoba. Elaine was born on July 14, 1944, to John and Wilma Lockert in Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan the 5th of 6 Children. Elaine was known for her unconditional love, great sense of humor, and joyous spirit, particularly her love for dancing and a good joke.

Elaine's life was marked by her remarkable resilience, strength, and nurturing nature. She provided not only encouragement but also support to everyone around her, embodying patience and understanding in all her relationships.

Elaine will be forever missed by her son Leighton Hardy (Tammy), and son-in-law Donald Trollope. Lovingly adored by grandchildren Trace Trollope (Marissa), Brittney Trollope, Logan, Colton, and Keigan Hardy and great granddaughter Mila Trollope. Elaine is Predeceased by her beloved husband, Lionel Hardy, their daughter Colleen (née Hardy) Trollope, and her brothers Bill and Robert Lockert. She is survived by her siblings John (Germaine) Lockert, Allen (Phyllis) Lockert, Darlene (Dennis) Werner, along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews throughout Saskatchewan.

Services will be held at Tubman Funeral Home 1005 Boyle St, Indian Head, SK on the 9th of August 2024 at 1 Pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Sharon Elaine Hardy's memory, honoring her spirit and enduring legacy.
