Obituary

GRULKE: (GEIGER) The death of Sharlene Dawn Grulke (Geiger) occurred in Brandon on Friday, January 13, 2012. Sharlene was born in Brandon on December 5, 1979. She attended school at General Panet (1997). After completing her schooling she worked as a photographer, education assistant, travel agent and youth mentor advisor. She belonged to the MFRC (Military Family Resource Centre), CFB, Shilo and was on the Board of Directors. She graduated with a B.A. (Hon.) from Brandon University in 2011 while being a busy mom. Photography was a passion for Sharlene and she enjoyed farm life. Sharlene is survived by her husband Eric, children: Brian, Olivia, Ava and Marcus, parents Brian and Debbie, sisters Melanie and Rebecca, maternal grandparents Stan and Jerry Graves, paternal grandmother Shirley Geiger. She was a daughter-in-law to Frieda and Erwin Grulke and she will also be missed by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as extended family and friends. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 3101 Victoria Avenue on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 10:00 am. Pastor Edmund Mielke will officiate. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Sharlene to the ALS Society of Canada, 493 Madison St., Winnipeg, MB R3J 1J2 or to the Grace Lutheran Church, 3101 Victoria Ave, Brandon, MB R7B 3P3.
