NG: See Nuey Ng (Yuen) of Brandon, passed away at Hillcrest Place on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at the age of 96. She came to Canada in 1957 to join her husband in Brandon. She helped her husband Harry Hoy operate the Ritz CafT, as well as devoting her time to raising her grandchildren. See enjoyed many pastimes such as gardening, sewing, and travelling. Even though there was a language barrier, she didn't allow it to deter her from doing the things she wanted. See will always be known as a kind, caring and big-hearted lady. She was always willing to help others out whenever she was needed. See was predeceased by her husband Harry Hoy in 1975. She is survived by her daughter Yan Suey (Pay Ying) Liu of Toronto; son Yuen Toy (Fung Ling) Ng of Brandon; grandchildren Ying (Hing) Mak of New York, Ziniu (Hong) Liu, Yu (Zhong) Chen, Zhen (Wei) Li, Ming (Sem) Liu, Rong (Yan) Liu all of Toronto, Lyla (Michael) Allan of Cold Lake, Lisa (Barry) Gopie of Pickering, Lois Eng of Brandon and Brian Eng of Ottawa. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hillcrest Place for their loving care and support over the last couple of years. A time of visitation will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Sunday, August 27, 2006 from 7:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Harvey Hurren will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon cemetery.
