NORMAN: Sandra (nee Sommerville). It is with tremendous sadness we announce the death of Sandra Norman, at the age of 79 years, on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She died peacefully at home with her beloved husband, Chick by her side. She was predeceased by her parents John and Moira Sommerville, younger brother Roy Sommerville and her first husband George Watt. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 41 years, Dr. Charles Norman; children Donna (Bruce) McCallum, Deirdre (Cory) Klippenstine, Alan (Camarla) Norman, Alison (Darren) Miller and Ailsa Norman; her most cherished grandchildren Jon (Mary), Jessica, Chris (Kayla), Ben, Katherine, Kirsty (Mark), Alec, Andrew (Brittany), Matthew (Hannah), Hunter (Kyla), Blake, Callum and Connor; great-grandchildren Rachel and Jaxon; sister Moira (Brian) Band and sister-in-law Eileen Sommerville, both of Perth, Scotland; many nieces, nephews and cousins in Scotland and England; and all her friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible staff at CancerCare in Brandon, Dr. David Dawe of CancerCare Winnipeg, Dr. Johan du Plooy (ret'd), Dr. Andy Seitz and Dr. Scott Blyth. A service in celebration of Sandra's life will be held at the Victoria Inn – Imperial Ballroom, 3550 Victoria Avenue, Brandon, on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. For those not able to attend in person, the service will be webcast on Sandra's memorial page at www.memorieschapel.com. A private interment will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
