Rudy, age 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 27th, 2025, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre with his brother Alvin at his side.

Rudy was born on November 27, 1950, in Oxbow, and lived and attended school in Alameda Saskatchewan. In his early years he worked on the farm until mom, dad and he moved to Brandon Manitoba, where he worked at Behlen Industries until his retirement.

Rudy was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church and attended Grace Lutheran in Brandon.

Rudy, along with mom and dad, spent many years traveling around western Canada. He had a passion for taking photos especially of old country churches. Rudy made a bus trip to Nashville where he went to the Grand Ole Opry and met some country stars.

Rudy is survived by his brother Alvin (Paula), sister Katie (Tony) along with nephews and niece.
He was predeceased by his parents Harold & Frieda.

A graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on July 7th at 11 a.m. A special thanks to Pastor Mielke for officiating the service and all the members of Grace Lutheran for their support. Also thank you to the staff and residents of Valleyview Personal Care Home; they became his extended family.
