TOMPKIN: Ruby Tompkin of Surrey, BC formerly of Brandon, passed away on June 15, 2003. Ruby was born on November 18, 1909 in Routhwaite, MB. She was predeceased by her husbands, Bert Morrison and John Tompkins; her parents Joseph and Ellen Black; her sisters Elsie Dugard, Eva Cranswick; and her brothers Alfred, Cecil and Harold Black. Ruby will be sadly missed by her son Neil (Nancy) Morrison and stepson Jack (Dian) Tompkin; her grandchildren and great grandchildren She is also survived by her sister Charlotte Hennessey and sisters-in-law Lyla and Lorna. A graveside service was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Tuesday, June 24, 2003. Flowers are gratefully declined.
