COWAN - Roy Eldon
1917 - 2004
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Eldon Cowan of Brandon at Fairview Nursing Home on Sunday September 5, 2004 at the age of 86 years.
He has been a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather and his kindness, humour, card playing abilities and many stories of the past will be greatly missed. Roy is survived by children Tom (Gwen), Ron (Agnes), Dorothy (Don), Betty, Bernard (Linda), Caroline (Allan), Ralph (Brenda), Bernadette, Carol, his sister Irene, sister-in-law Evelyn, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his wife Gladys, and sons Wayne & Dennis.
Funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel 330 - 18 Street North, on Thursday September 9th at 2pm. Rev Laird Russell-Yearwood of Central United Church will officiate. For friends so wishing a time of visitation will be held at the Chapel 1 hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview for their kindness and support.
