It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemary Carter Moncrief peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Riverdale Personal Care Home at the age of 83 years.

Rosemary was born in Picton Ontario on September 18,1941 to parents Harry Carter and Carrie May Carter (nee Cross).

Rosemary grew up in Picton Ontario where she met Donald Moncrief whom she married in September of 1957. Together they had four children, Amanda (Sept. 18, 1958), Stephen (Feb. 14, 1961) William (Jan. 2, 1976) and Kerri-Mae (August 5th, 1977).

Rosemary spent her last years at the Riverdale Personal Care Home where she enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her friends and keeping the nurses on their toes with her quick wit comebacks and humor.

Rosemary was predeceased by her parents Harry and Carrie May Carter, husband Donald Moncrief, grandson Timothy McKay, son in law Garnet Roulette and her siblings Marie, Lettie, Virgina, Bob, Marjorie, Lillian, Nick and Carol Ann.

She is survived by her children Amanda, Stephen, William (Crystal), Kerri-Mae (Justin); her grandchildren Jenifer, Jason, Amber, Aaron, Carter, Lucas, Madden, Kayla, Alexander and Cameron; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and her sister Emma Susan.

In keeping with Rosemary's wishes there will be a graveside funeral on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 3:00 pm at the Rivers Cemetery for family and friends that wish to attend.

Please clearly identify "In Memory of Rosemary on the donation", cheques should be made out to Prairie Mountain Health with Rosemary Moncrief Memory in the memo line.
