Ronald T. Allum, beloved brother and uncle, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 in Brandon. Born December 19, 1973, Ron grew up in Brandon and attended various schools including Riverview School and Crocus Plains Regional Secondary School and was a member of the Sea Cadets. He worked with his dad in the construction industry as well as at Maple Leaf Foods. Ron enjoyed being with family, especially gatherings at Christmas, camping, and his nieces' high school graduations. He also treasured the time spent with Craig (his proctor) playing cards and such. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his siblings James, Jeannette (Harvey) Giesbrecht, Donna (Ken) Chisamore and Randy; nieces and nephews Amy, Megan, Brent and Derek and two special nieces Ashley and Cathi; and uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his dad Harry in 1996 and mom Lorraine in 2016, both sets of grandparents and numerous uncles, aunts and cousin. The family invites you to take part in the Celebration of Ron's Life through webcasting on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Brandon Cemetery in the family plot. Urn bearers will be his nieces Ashley and Cathi.
