Obituary

REYNOLDS: The death of Robert "Bob" George Reynolds occurred at his residence, Fairview Home, on Monday, November 24, 2008. Bob was born February 23, 1932 in Hartney, Manitoba. He received his Grade 9 at Wallace School in Rapid City, Manitoba. Bob worked in the oil fields in Estevan Saskatchewan, and at the Potash Mine in Esterhazy. In 1956 he married Muriel Loreen Rice. They enjoyed many happy times together until Muriel's death in 1965. In 1966, he married Agnes Marie Sieben and started working for Inco in Thompson, that same year. Bob belonged to the Kinsmen, K-40, Legion, Thompson Boy Scouts, and the Esterhazy Anglican Church. He enjoyed woodworking, John Deere Tractors, car and book collecting and quilting. He leaves to mourn his daughters Sheryl (Frank) Solcan of Brandon, Robyn Reynolds (Don Pope) of Brandon, Carol Fitzsimmons of Brandon; sons Kelly (Jocelyn) of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Kevin (Erica) Reynolds of McLean, Saskatchewan; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Lillian Gabrielle of Virden, Manitoba, Marj (Lorne) Rice of Oak Lake, Manitoba; brother Brian (Phyllis) Reynolds of Brandon, Manitoba. Bob was predeceased by; his father Alf Reynolds in 1984, mother Agnes Reynolds in 1989, daughter Bunny Reynolds 1968, and wife Muriel Reynolds (Rice) in 1965. The Ceremony to Celebrate Bob's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Jim Brown of St. George's Anglican Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba-Westman Region, 1-613-10th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4G6 or to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, #302, 171 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 1M4.
