REID: Robert Roger Reid, beloved husband of Berenice and father of Shirley Pedersen, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2003 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. The Memorial Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street N. on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Roger to the Canadian Diabetes Association Westman Region, B 727-10th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4G7 or to the Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. REID: Robert Roger Reid passed away on Monday, October 20, 2003 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Roger was born on February 3, 1925 in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A., the son of John Myra Reid. He returned to Canada when he was 7 years old with his parents, brothers and sisters to the Hamiota and Brandon area. Roger took up construction with his father and continued working in this field until his retirement. He was predeceased by his parents John and Myra Reid; brother Hugh; sisters Ethel E. and Mavis; in-laws Don and Maggie Campbell; brother-in-law William (Mac) Campbell. Roger belonged to several Masonic Lodges, Shrine Club and Oriental Band. He enjoyed curling, golfing and painting. Roger is survived by his loving wife Berenice; daughter Shirley Pedersen; granddaughters Christina, Angela and Lori all of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by his sister Victoria (Ri) Morgan of Brandon; brothers Barclay of Vancouver, BC, Alex (Joyce) of Gladstone, MB; sister-in-law Barbara Reid of Calgary; brothers-in-law Norman McKinnon and L.R. Bob McNarry; Uncle Cedric (Betty) McPhaden of Hamiota and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Memorial Service was held at Memories Chapel on Thursday, October 23, 2003.
