The death of Robert "Bob" Murray of Fairview Home, formerly of Alexander, occurred at his residence on Tuesday, June 17, 2003. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Alexander Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Robert "Bob" Murray of Fairview Home, formerly of Alexander, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at the age of 89 years. Bob was predeceased by, his beloved wife May, his parents, Robert and Mary Murray, brothers Dave and Bill. He is survived by, sons Wayne (Fleurette) and Dave (Deby) and grandchildren, Jaye and Kristin. Bob was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan on May 27, 1914. He later moved to Alexander, Manitoba where he married May Mosson and raised two sons. Bob and May resided in Alexander, where he was employed at the R.M. of Whitehead for 30 years until retirement in Brandon. Bob's interests included bingo, gardening, fishing and boating at the lake. He also enjoyed watching his sons curling and playing hockey. The funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at 1:00 pm.
