Obituary

Robert "Bob" Boyle of Brandon, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord in the early hours of July 13, 2007 from Rideau Park Personal Care Home. Bob was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on May 25, 1922. After marrying Jean his beloved wife, who predeceased him in 1999, they immigrated to Canada in 1951 and settled in Thunder Bay, Ontario until moving to Brandon in 1966. Bob is survived by three daughters and one son: Ruth Meier of Regina, Saskatchewan, Deborah (Murray) Clark of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Eunice (Dave) Vanstone of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba and Philip (Teresa) Boyle of Kenora, Ontario, along with fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild born July 7, 2007. As a young man of sixteen, he had a life-changing experience when he trusted in Jesus Christ as his Saviour. As a result, Bob loved to study the Word of God and spend his working years as a traveling evangelist telling the good news that Jesus Christ came to be the Saviour of the world. He fellowshipped with Christians at the Brandon Gospel Hall and traveled extensively throughout parts of North America. He has many friends who will miss his ministry. The family appreciates the excellent care that Bob received from the caring staff at Rideau Park Personal Car Home during his last days and would like to thank them.
