BOYCE: The death of Robert Boyce, beloved husband of Mabel, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, April 16, 2007. BOYCE: Robert Brock Boyce passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, April 16, 2007. Robert was born in the R.M. of Miniota on July 27, 1923. He attended Glen Locker Country School. Robert served for the Royal Canadian Air Force, farmed in the Miniota area and then worked with Chevron Resources in Virden, Manitoba for thirty-four years. Robert was always there to help and enjoyed doing work for others. He did a lot of woodworking and carpentry, including finishing basements. When Robert wasn't working with wood in his spare time, he was gardening or weeding. He would tinker and fix for hours. Robert enjoyed playing cards and board games, bowling, camping, watching his favorite television shows, and playing catch with the kids. Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mabel; daughter Lynne (Rick) and their daughters Kate and Kelly; son Wayne (Sherrie) and their sons Brandin, Kevin and Chris. A private family graveside was held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 19, 2007. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Robert may be made to a charity of one's choice.
