FIFI: Rene Archie Fifi, of Brandon, age 64 years, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Rene was born at Holland, Manitoba on May 9, 1950 and was raised on a farm in the Bruxelles area. He received his early education at a convent at Bruxelles, then later moved to Holland, then to Portage and eventually to Brandon. Rene worked as a truck driver, farm hand, handyman, yard care maintenance and landscape contractor. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting antiques, pets and yard work. Rene is survived by his sons Joel Fifi (Deion Neiman) and children Brooklyn and Alicia; Danny Fifi (Carla Pearton); Robbie Fifi (Brittany Woodland) and children Ayden and Lilly; step-daughter Donna Bernier (Derek Graham) and children Alexa and Mikaela. He was predeceased by his wife Carol. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Arlene Robertson will officiate.
