FERRIS: Rebecca Anne "Betty" Ferris, daughter of the late Bert and Jessie Roney, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Born at Red Jacket, Saskatchewan on September 30, 1928, Betty was a dedicated Nurse's Aide at the International Nursing Home for 25 years. She is survived by her husband Clifford Arthur Ferris of 59 years of marriage; son John Ferris; son Bill (Debbie) Ferris, grandchildren Edna and Clifford; daughter Betty Anne (Maurice) Girard, grandson Mark (Alyssa), great-granddaughter Brenna, grandson Doug (Sara), grandson Chris (Chelsey), great-granddaughter Addison; daughter Pat (Thomas) Hillmann, grandchildren Adam and Alexander; daughter Susan Deering, granddaughter Brianna (Sean), great-grandchildren Isabelle, Ryleigh and granddaughter Raven. Funeral Service took place at Memories Chapel on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Rev. Barb Jardine officiated. Interment followed at Madford Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Betty's granddaughters. Pallbearers were Betty's grandsons. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Unit 4B – 457 9th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 1K2.
