VAN DEVEIRE: It is with sadness we announce the passing of Raymond Arthur Van Deveire at his residence, Fairview Home, Brandon on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Raymond was born in Deloraine, Manitoba, on March 11, 1924 one of seven children born to Peter and Alma Van Deveire. Raymond lived much of his life in Boissevain and Deloraine until moving to Brandon to reside. He is survived by: his sisters, Louise Noe, Elizabeth Van Deveire and a brother, Leon (Vivian). He also leaves a sister-in-law, Kay Van Deveire. There are numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Alma, brothers; Archie, Joe, a sister Alice Macialek and brothers-in-law, John Macialek, and Emery Noe, also a sister-in-law, Marie Louise Van Deveire. A graveside service will be held at the Deloraine Cemetery, on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 11:00 am. Deacon John MacKenzie will officiate. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
