Obituary

DAVIS: Ralph William "Bill" Davis, beloved husband of Elizabeth, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, September 16, 2004. Bill was born in Brandon on June 6, 1939 to Ralph and Florence Davis. He was raised in the Moore Park area and moved to Brandon in 1955. He received his education in Moore Park and attended high school in Brandon. Bill apprenticed with Cliff McIntryre in carpentry and worked construction jobs his entire life, lastly with Crane Steel Structures. His main interests were his home and family. He loved to go camping with his family as the children were growing up. Many special family gatherings took place at Oak Lake Beach. Bill will be lovingly remembered by: his wife Elizabeth; daughter, Angela; his five sons and their families, Billy (Shirley) of Brandon, Bob (Shannon) their children, Rae-Anne and Jennifer of Brandon, Brian (Wendy) their children, April and Andrew of Whitecourt, AB and Brent (Starla) their children, Dylan and Tyson of Brandon, Michael (Corie) and their children, Jason and Thaine of Winnipeg. He is also survived by: his mother, Florence Davis of Brandon; sisters, Margaret Campbell of Brandon, Marjorie Maxwell of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his father, Ralph Davis and brother, David Davis. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Monday, September 20, 2004 at 1:00 pm. Pallbearers will be: Doug Lund, Klaus Both, Grant McDonald, Gordon Anderson, Frank Maliteare and Lloyd Zavislak. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
