The death of Polly Rak of Rideau Park Personal Care Home occurred at her residence on Friday, January 5, 2001. Polly was born at Garland, Manitoba on May 17, 1908, the daughter of Alex and Annie Schur. She had been a resident of Brandon for many years. Polly is survived by her sister, Emily Teensen of Parksville, BC. There are two nephews as well as a cousin, Harry Schur who lives in Dauphin. The funeral ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Tuesday, January 9, 2001 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Greg Foley of Calvary Temple will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon cemetery. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
