Phyllis "Jean" Dunton passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

Jean was born on September 16, 1932, to Percy and Sarah Jane Hollingsworth on the family farm near Doonside, SK. After moving to Brandon, Jean met and married Bill Dunton in 1954.

She loved flowers and spent many hours in her yard looking after her flowers and shrubs. Jean also enjoyed walking her dogs and chatting with neighbors.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Bill Dunton (2015); brother Robert Hollingsworth (1992); and sisters Evelyn Lettley (2016) and Gladys Tawse (2023).

Jean will be lovingly remembered by her sons Rodney, Brent (Denise) and Eric (Carla); and grandchildren Amanda Dunton and Evan Dunton.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
