BURNEY: Anne P. Burney passed away at her residence, Fairview Home, on Friday, February 20, 2004. Anne was born on August 3, 1928 in Deloraine, Manitoba and raised in the Napinka and Boisevain area. She married James Burney in 1947. They had five children and moved to the Chater area in 1955. Anne was a wonderful mother who spent numerous hours with her children, making beautiful memories that will help them cherish her life and memory forever. Among those special memories will be the aroma of her homemade bread and beautiful home cooked meals. She put on a Christmas fit for a king with such meticulous detail. Every present she decorated was a work of art. Left to celebrate her life are: her children Doris, Larry (Brenda), Erwin, Lloyd (Penny) and Lois (Claire). She loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Chad (Nikki), Madison, Lonnie, Donnie (Sarah), Chris, Alex, Deanna, D.J., Tyler, Tammy, Tanya, Lealoni, Lesley, Nathon, Shauna, Desirae (Josh), Adam, Trinda, Donnie (Cindy), Dilan, Kaylie, Kevin (Laurilei),Taylor, and Jeff, Breanne. She also left great memories for her sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Anne was predeceased by her; daughter-in-law Kim; parents Andrew and Eva; and sisters Viola and Evelyn. The Ceremony to Celebrate Anne's Life will be held at Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 330-18th Street North, on Friday, February 27, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Anne to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba Westman Region, 437-9th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4A9 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5B7.
